Hello! Welcome to the BusinessKids Blog, here we will share part of the activities that we carry out in our company such as images, articles, tips and much more. Let's go together to start playing!

BusinessKids was born from the company Comercio Internacional Mexicano and is dedicated to empowering entrepreneurship in children in a fun way through courses. As a complement to the courses, BusinessKids magazine appeared in July 2013 to provide knowledge to many more children around the country. Each month the magazine has a subject related to the business world and you can find it in Sanborns and Gandhi bookstores.

A leader inspires, listens, guides, and wants the best for the community. We all have the power to be leaders. You can help your kids develop the qualities they need to become leaders in their community.

Anyone Can Be a Leader if They Try

Today’s children are the leaders of tomorrow. But why wait until tomorrow comes so your child can be a leader or an entrepreneur? No one is born being a leader, but we all have the potential to become one. A leader has some unique skills and values that can be learned through time. If you want your kids to be leaders you have to raise them to be one. Teach them the proper skills, surround them with the right mentors, and be a role model. Here are some things you can do to help your children gain the qualities of a leader.

Teach Them Perseverance

There’s bound to be a lot of mistakes and disappointments on the way to success. You should talk to your children about that. Tell them about how things won’t always go their way, but they must carry on and move forward. Persevere through championship game loses broken hearts, and failed tests until they reach their goals.

The Value of Teamwork

Encourage your child to participate in group activities. Teamwork teaches children how to cooperate and get along with others, communicate effectively, and manage their emotions.  Working as a team is one of the most valuable leadership lessons children should learn.

Entrepreneurial Classes

If you want your child to be an entrepreneur, perhaps a class can help them out. Look for a place that offers entrepreneurial courses for kids, where they can learn about communication skills, teamwork, marketing, and other elements that will help them become good leaders. Business Kids USA offer entrepreneurial courses for kids 4 to 14 years old. Give them a call at (212) 800-2661 to learn about their fun programs.

Promote the Reading Habit

Studies prove that children who read for fun have better intellectual progress than children who don’t. Young readers learn more about the world and its people.  Encourage your youngsters to make reading a hobby.

Do Some Volunteer Work

Do some volunteer work with your kids. Volunteering helps children appreciate what they have and know about the needs of other people. Teach them about how their volunteering work can have a positive impact on those in need. A leader should always care about their community.

Work on Their Communication Skills

Communication is essential for leaders and relationships in general. Teach your youngster to express their emotions and ideas effectively. Talk to them about respecting other’s opinions even when they differ from their own. Nurture their communications skills so they can build relationships and inspire others.

Have Them Practice Their Negotiation Skills

Leaders know how to compromise and look for the best solution for all. Teach your children to negotiate at home. Instead of giving them a “yes” or “no” answer to their requests, tell them to make you an offer or a better solution.

Let Them Be Trailblazers

Make sure to teach your kids that there’s no need to follow someone else’s path. They should do their own thing if that’s what they want. Support them and encourage them to pursue their interests and passions. Leaders do things differently and follow their dreams.

Listening is Essential

Teach your children about the importance of being good listeners by listening to what they have to say. Having excellent listening skills is quality that all leaders absolutely must have. People are inspired by people who listen and understand their needs.

Nurture Their Entrepreneurial Spirit

If your kids want to set their lemonade stand, babysitting, or lawn mowing business, help them out. Help them with their sales pitch, help them make posters, and encourage them to go for more.

Let Them Choose

Leaders need to be decisive. Let your youngsters make some decisions at home. Starting from choosing one healthy snack or another, or what to wear to school. As your children grow, let them make decisions that require more thought. Giving them choices helps them feel like they’re in control of the situation and builds confidence.

Positive Thinking

Negativity gets you nowhere. Optimism is related to success.  If your children believe they can, they will. It’s easier to reach a goal of you maintain a positive mindset.
